Emmalene Blake (ESTR) is an artist based in Dublin, Ireland. Since graduating from Dublin Institute of Technology with an Honour’s Degree in Fine Art in 2012, Emmalene has been honing her craft as a street artist, first painting live at an event in 2013. Since then she has painted live at many events, as well as painting commissioned pieces throughout Ireland and abroad.

Emmalene has painted at events such as Electric Picnic, Waterford Walls, Knockanstockan, All City Tivoli Jams, First Fortnight Festival, Hit The North Festival, The Beatyard, Consentfest and Cruthu Arts Festival. Her clients include Warner Music, Aiken Promotions, Amnesty International, Concern Worldwide, RTE, The Ink Factory, The New Children's Hospital.

As well as events and commissions, Emmalene paints passion pieces often influenced by current national and international events and issues, including human rights campaigns, environmental issues, mental health awareness and homelessness.  Her work has garnered attention from national and international media such as CNN, BBC World News, China Global Television Network, Agence-France Presse, The Huffington Post (UK & France), The Independent (UK & Ireland), RTE, Teen Vogue, The Irish Times, The Guardian, Newstalk, Irish Tatler, Daily Mirror (UK), Irish Daily Mirror, BBC (UK), Joe.ie, Journal.ie, Hotpress, The Sun, Evoke.ie, Lovin.ie, and more.

Emmalene was named one of The Irish Times 50 People to Watch in 2019.

Emmalene's work has been featured in many exhibitions throughout Ireland and the UK, as well a multiple books.
